I’ve been a gamer since I was too young to form memories. Seriously. I can’t remember ever opening my very first video game console (which was the NES, of course), but I damn sure remember playing it. We’ll just go ahead and say that it was somewhere around 1989. Those were the golden years. That controller was uncomfortable as hell, but that didn’t stop me from defeating Ganon, saving the Princess, or creating a gnarly track in Excite Bike.
Throughout the years, I have owned practically every console, played a lot of PC games, and had many fanboy arguments. I also grew a love for comic books at an early age. I’m not the biggest collector by any means and I don’t know what Spiderman ate for dinner in issue #76, but I like to think that I can hold my own in comic knowledge. This might be blasphemy to some, but I have actually just recently moved to digital comics being my source for keeping up with the times. That’s right, every comic I buy now is straight from the app on my tablet. I love it. Now, I’ll still visit my local comic book store from time to time because the environment and feeling the pages between my fingers is something I don’t ever want to forget.
Well, now you know about me while I know squat about you! Excellent!
